Taiwan Shoufu University (TSU) was established in 2000 and is located in Tainan, city of ancient culture. Because of its excellent record, in 2010 the school was accredited by the Ministry of Education, and upgraded to become “Taiwan Shoufu University.” Now TSU has 3 colleges, 18 departments, and 2 degree programs. The chairman is Ching Yuan Tsai, a leading entrepreneur. The president is Professor Shun Tsung Yang.
TSU is near many national scenic areas and national parks. Hence, the cultural scenic spots are very rich in heritage and have attraction for tourists. Some examples include Madou’s Old Harbor Cultural Area, Tsung-Yeh Arts and Cultural Center, Madou Daitian Temple, Twelve Sisters Array, Wushantou Reservoir, Qigu Lagoon, Black-faced Spoonbill Reserve, Qigu Salt Mountains, and night markets.
TSU campus is beautiful. The dormitory provides students with a comfortable and safe living environment. Rooms are designed as suites that include air-conditioning, a refrigerator and internet connection. Dormitory facilities include washing machines, dryers, reading rooms, and a lounge. In addition, the dormitory has a computer monitor system to protect students’ safety. The campus facilities are equipped with gourmet restaurants, a convenience store, an indoor stadium, outdoor night courts, an outdoor café, a night time library, and a bookstore. The campus is near Madou’s market. Life is diverse, and shopping is easy.
